Kindergarten- Mrs. Kratzer

My name is Coleen Kratzer.  I have a B.A. in Sociology from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from NAU.  I have taught for many years in Christian education.  I feel very blessed to work at Palms Christian School this year. 

My encouragement to every student is to "Always do your best!"  My goal is that each student reaches their full potential.  Our focus is that when we do something, we do it with our whole heart for the Lord.  It is such a privilege to be a part of shaping and molding these precious lives for Jesus.

1st Grade- Mrs. Wooldridge 

My name is Nancy Wooldridge. I am the first grade teacher at Palms Christian School. I have taught at this school for six years. I have always taught in Christian schools. I love the freedom I have had to teach the children the word of God. This is my number one priority in teaching. It has been a joy to watch the children grow and learn throughout my many years in the educational field.

Our motto in our classroom is, “WE CAN DO IT”! I am so blessed to be part of Palms Christian School staff.

2nd Grade- Mrs. Copps 

My name is Bernie Copps and I am the Second Grade Teacher. This is my fifth year to teach at  Palms Christian School, but I do have many years of teaching experience both in public and Christian schools.

I felt a calling upon my life to teach when I was in high school and through my love and obedience to God. I have been so blessed to teach and touch the lives of many students. Our class scripture is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.”

3rd/4th Grade Combo Class- Mrs. Sherrill

My name is Amy Sherrill and I will be teaching the 3^rd/4^th grade combination class this year.  I am so excited to experience a fulfilling year of learning and success with each third and fourth grader! 

I received my B.S. in Education from Angelo State University in Texas. I also received my Master’s in Instructional Technology in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University.  I taught in Texas for five years.  Then I took five years off to stay at home with my two sons.  Our family moved to Arizona and God provided the wonderful opportunity to teach at Palms Christian, where I have been teaching for seven years.  It is a blessing and a privilege to teach children and be a part of their lives.  I love sharing with children God’s love and grace for us.

5th/6th Grade Combo Class- Mrs. Pearson

My name is Jessicca Pearson.  I received  a B.S. in Biology-Premed and a B.A. in Elementary Education at Colorado Christian University .  I also received my Master's in Elementary Education at NAU. 

I have taught at Palms Christian School for three years.  I have a passion for teaching children of all ages.  I am blessed to be teaching at a Christian school in which I have the freedom to teach about Christ in all areas of academics.  I believe we are not only here to teach academics but to empower our students with the Word of Christ, and teach them life skills that they are going to need as adults.  I have high standards for my students and I believe that they can and will grow in amazing ways emotionally, spiritually, and academically.

My name is Kaylob Stumbaugh. I am the Children's Director for Palm Vista Baptist Church.  At PCS we have chapel on Thursdays. During chapel I have the privilege of leading the students in a time of worship and sharing a message from God's word.
